Cavesnetwork : a network of 6 European partners working together to enhance troglodyte sites by pooling our expertise and experience.
In certain European regions cave dwellings and underground caves are an important part of the cultural and historical heritage, which these regions want to use to the best advantage. Six European bodies faced with the same issues and problems and with similar geological situations decided to form a partnership which would allow them to share their experiences on the spot and to explore better ways of managing and exploiting this heritage.
The project falls within the framework of the Community Initiative Interreg IIIC Western Zone, co-financed by the ERDF (European regional Development Fund).
